Peter Lockwood
Peter Lockwood is a Post-doctoral researcher at IHEID, Geneva on Project SALMEA (Self-Accomplishment and Local Moralities in Eastern Africa) and an Affiliated Lecturer University of Cambridge’s Department of Social Anthropology. He conducted 20 months of long-term participant research living in peri-urban Kiambu County, and has published papers on Kenyan politics and youth unemployment. He has a growing interest in Kenyans’ aspirations for social mobility, and the role of finance in those economic journeys.
