Ngũgĩ wa Thiong’o

Ngũgĩ wa Thiong’o is a Kenyan novelist, playwright and literary critic. He is a Distinguished Professor, University of California, Irvine, Comparative Literature and English. Ngũgĩ is considered to be East Africa’s greatest novelist and a giant of African literature. He co-wrote the play, The Trial of Dedan Kimathi with Professor Micere Mugo.
