Catherine Bond
Catherine Bond began her journalistic career as a freelance reporter in Uganda in the mid- 1980s, covering news stories throughout the East and Horn of Africa region and beyond for British-based media outlets. She moved to Kenya in the 1990s, where she worked for The Daily Telegraph, BBC World Service and others, before becoming CNN International's Nairobi Bureau Chief. She joined the aid world as an editor and writer in the mid-2000s, a career she has since pursued in Washington DC and Nairobi.
