Betty Wambui, Ph.D. is Associate Professor in the Africana and Latinx Studies Department at the State University of New York – Oneonta. A Carnegie Diaspora Fellow (2021) and UUP/SUNY Drescher Recipient (2014/15), she received her Ph.D. in Philosophy from Binghamton University (SUNY), USA; and her M.A. in Philosophy from the University of Nairobi, Kenya.
