Ambassador Alain A. Nyamitwe is the former Minister of External Relations and International Cooperation (May 2015-April 2018), former Ambassador of Burundi to the Federal Republic of Nigeria (2011-2013) and former Ambassador to the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and Permanent Representative of Burundi to the African Union & UNECA (2013-2015).
