Ketty Nivyabandi

Ketty Nivyabandi is a poet and activist from Burundi. In 2015, she successfully mobilised women to peacefully protest President Nkurunziza's bid for a third term in office. She later left her country after numerous threats on her life and currently resides in Canada.
